Peace, Wander, and Health.

Throughout this week and a lot of last week I've been having anxiety and have felt a little down and sick because of it. I've been working on projects that can give me some kind of peace and relaxation.

The first project I did this week was a mini drawing and watercolor paining of an OM sign with some glitter thrown on it. The sound of the universe. "Om (or Auṃ [ə̃ũ], Sanskrit: ॐ) is a sacred sound and a spiritual icon in Dharmic religions. It is also a mantra in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism."

A project I started and finished last night was a mini cross stitch. I was feeling some cabin fever from feeling sick all week and too tired to go out anywhere so I stitched some little arrows and the word "Wander" which is probably one of my favorite verbs.

Today was the first day that I've felt really good and I feel so grateful for it. Since Ronnie is at the clay studio I went out a couple times to go enjoy the fresh air. This morning I went down the street to a too expensive, hipster, coffee shop where I made it my office of editing photos.
I came back home and decided I wanted to go wander. I was feeling really inspired by the Winooski river and decided to grab my lensbaby and create a short experimental film. I haven't done any video since college so I'm very excited to see the outcome.

My wander and deep breathing around the river was extremely therapeutic.
What creative adventures did you have this week?
