12 Days of Christmas|| Christmas Cards!

I did it! I conquered making all of my Christmas cards this evening after a very long day at work and even making a blog about it! I think this is my first time making a lot of cards and sending them out with a picture and everything (One step closer to becoming a real adult) This was very easy to do and took me about an hour and a half to complete all 10 of my Christmas Cards.

These are the items you will need for your ornament cards!
1. Blank card paper 2. Paper hole punch 3. Scrapbooking paper
4. Adhesive of your choice 5. Ruler 6. Small black artist pen 7. Glitter

For the base of my card I found kraft paper online. These are prefolded and sized to 5x7 which I really enjoy, it made it so easy. Plus there's envelopes to go with it!

First you will want to take your paper punch, mine is a 1" circle but this could be really neat if you have other shapes and sizes! Choose some paper patterns that you enjoy and punch away!

Next you will want to take your paper card and apply the circles wherever you would like with some glue. I really enjoy rubber cement because if you mess up it is easier to peel off and if you have access glue it will just rub off later on. I enjoy scattering mine in various places, this works well when you draw your lines because you can make them look as though they are over lapping each other. On one of my circles I added some 3D tape to add some dimension to the card. You can get these at any crafting store and they are super handy!

Once you have placed your circles you'll want to grab a ruler and your thin black artist marker to draw a line down the page to meet your circle. Once you have drawn your lines you'll want to draw little bows at the end! Mine aren't fancy.

Tip! Add one ornament on the inside of your card for a little extra touch.

Hooray! Your ornaments are complete! You could stop here if you wanted to but why not add...GLITTER!

I used a very tiny brush to dab into my rubber cement for my glitter. Once I have added some glue around the ornaments I then sprinkle my gold glitter and tap my card to remove the access glitter. Don't worry if it's not perfect...you want it to look frosted at the top, plus perfect is boring. I like to keep it subtle for a little pop!

I hope I gave you some inspiration for your Christmas cards! :) I really enjoyed this project

What about the envelopes?

Tomorrow I will be packing them in their envelopes with some nice touches. :) Stay tuned!
I hope you enjoyed!

Happy Holidays!
