Craft Organization// Embroidery

It's that time of year where we organize everything to live a clean and organized lifestyle!
....for a good few months anyway.
I decided that since I'm really getting into embroidery, it needed it's own box.
I've been looking into embroidery boxes but they are just too expensive and a little excessive for what I needed. So what better way then to just put together my own box?

THIS IS MY BOX.
I got this adorable thing at Michael's arts and crafts for 50% off. This made it around $5.
The colors, design, and words just make me oh so excited.

THIS IS INSIDE OF MY BOX.
As you can see everything has it's own place.
On the right I have my container of thread, scissors, and needles. In the middle of have a bag of embellishments and a little jar of buttons. The left I have all of my fabric folded up, a few hoops, and a little sketch book for my bright ideas, tucked in the front I have my ribbon which I like to decorate the sides of my hoops with!

Let's start with my lovely embroidery thread and the container which I have put them in!
I made this last night and it was SO easy and perfect for on the go crafting if you wish!

As you can see I have wrapped my thread around clothes pins. You can grab a pack of 18 at Michael's Arts and Crafts for $2.99. You simple wrap around the middle and clip the end! SIMPLE. It honestly has helped me so much because your thread does not get as knotted. I have placed all of my thread inside of a mason jar. The top of the mason jar I have a thing called "jar jewelry" which is perfect as a pin cushion! (I was in desperate need of a pin cushion and didn't want your average tomato pin cushion.) At the bottom I just embellished my jar with some twine by hot gluing it at the bottom and wrapping it around. voila! You're adorable embroidery organizer which is great for the go

I LOVE embellishments on embroideries! It was a no brainer to add that in my box too.
I have a little zip bag (I should actually put it in something a little cuter...but this works for now) and a tiny jar of vintage buttons which my grandmother sent me.
Also, LOOK at how adorable this heart button is. Valentine's Day IS coming up you know! :)

Aside from little embellishments I love to wrap my hoops up with cute ribbon.
I always get so annoyed just keeping them in that packs that they are in so I found this idea and realized that I had some large gift tags that I have never used! What I did was tape the end to the back, wrap it around and put the end though the hole. This is so useful!

I hope you all enjoyed this blog! I have a few idea for Valentines Day! (yes, I'm one of "those")

Have a good day, a beautiful day, and a blessed day! :)
