Has anybody else had low energy so far in the New Year? I left work early on Monday sick and have been a pathetic sloth the rest of the week. I come home from work and just want to nap and watch Netfix. I've been trying to work on some projects this week so I'm not completely useless..hah!
I like to call the my "Wall Bouquet" I had the burlap canvas from a past fall project and needed to re-use it. I also had this little pack of winter floral pieces that I got for $1 at Michael's Arts and Crafts. I decided to use the two and put them together. I added some vintage buttons that are whites, creams, and a few pops of turquoise (because what's a project I did without vintage buttons!) This is a project I think could be really cool if you gather different canvases, sizes, colors, and flowers. I'm excited to grow this idea even further!
One of my goals this year is to cook and bake more so I made my own recipe book and cards!
I found a free printable on pinterest for my cards. I printed them on ivory cardstock. I used the dividers with scrapbook paper and made my own little tabs with different designs of oranges, black, and blue colors. I found a cute basket to put them in...but it was too big! It did work though because I have a recipe book that I can place in the back and another others I am gather in the future.
